Dewoitine D.7 for FSX

On Sunday, May 6, 1923, Georges Barbot flew across the English Channel and back on his little Dewotine D.7 monoplane. After the take-off from St. Inglevert aerodrome Barbot headed towards the English coast, reaching it near Folkestone. Then he turned towards Lympne, landing there soon after. Having made the return journey on the same day G. Barbot earned the Le Matin newspaper prize of 25,000 francs.

The airplane, powered by the Clerget-Renault 2-A engine (15 HP), weighed 252 kg "all on" and the fuel consumption has been stated to be about 2 gals for the whole trip.
